When I started my career in advertising I was doing strategy work for a major beer brand. My job was to spend evenings at bars interviewing women about why they liked drinking beer. By the end of the night I’d have large groups of strangers sharing stories and pints. I quickly learned three things:
1) Beer is a universal connector.
2) I truly love connecting people to great beer.
3) I take compliment in being known as “the beer girl.”
A major beer brand might need to conduct strategy to see that people like drinking beer, but at The Reaverbocker Brewery and Public House we know:
We are here to drink beer.
